47th Annual NHRA Summernationals – Englishtown, NJ

Cruz Pedregon and team are coming off the teams’ second best run of his career and are looking for the positives heading into Englishtown. “It’s been a bit of struggle, but things are starting to come together,” says Cruz Pedregon. “The motor’s not hurting itself, and we’re starting to run that speed we need down the second half of the track.”

Car Chief Chris “Warrior” Kullberg says the week ahead is looking good for the team. “We’ve been running really good early, and now we’re getting what we want out of the latter part of the runs. Englishtown has been a winner for us before, and we’re ready for it to be again.”

Cruz says he feels good about the start of the back-to-back mini-series of races as the NHRA season enters the halfway mark to the Countdown to the Championship. It’s a quick turn-around for the teams after a rain delay forced race day to Monday, and the Snap-on crew stayed on-site in Epping for routine service before heading to Englishtown Tuesday.
